Substantive essay work may be completed asynchronously and is billed at the same hourly rate.

Individualized tutoring for middle and high school students in literature, history, close reading, writing, humanities enrichment, and academic discussion.

SAT Reading and Writing, AP Language, AP Literature, AP World History, and other humanities-based exam preparation are available as focused tutoring or may be integrated into broader humanities work.

For K-12 homeschooling families who would like an outside academic perspective, I offer periodic portfolio reviews and planning consultations. For portfolios, I review a student’s work, then provide detailed written feedback on what is working well, where the student may need more support, and how the next stage of study might be strengthened.

College admissions mentorship is available for high school students who are developing academic direction, extracurricular depth, leadership, and a coherent admissions profile over time.

Support may include course planning, summer planning, extracurricular strategy, independent projects, and early college admissions positioning.

Essay development and editorial review are available for students applying to colleges, summer programs, scholarships, and graduate or professional programs, including law schools, MBA programs, and medical and dental schools.

Support may include personal statements, “why us?” and other supplemental essays, statements of purpose, perspective or diversity statements, optional essays, addenda, school-specific tailoring, and resume/CV review.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. For ongoing clients, invoices may be issued monthly.
